Tim and Andrea Moving to Houston

As some of you may or may not know, I have recently been searching out in the job market for a new job. Well I am happy to say that I have finally found one. I have accepted and offer in Houston, Texas. I will be working as a Project Engineer with Vopak. Vopak is a bulk liquids/chemicals logistic company. This is a more technical job than where I am at, and will provide me with and experience to finally work in my field of study. I have officially given my two weeks notice to General Motors, and my last physical day with the corporation is on June 24. My official start date in Houston is on July 1, 2008, but I will be leaving Michigan on June 28 to head down there and get situated.

Both my wife and I are pretty excited for this new opportunity, and can't wait to start our new life in Texas. I know we will be moving much further away from most of you, but once we get in and settled, we would love to have some visitors. The Michiganders can get away from the cold and come down for a visit :). And some of you who used to be far away, we hope to visit more, now that we will be closer.

Thanks for the support and well wishes from those who already knew about our initial interview down there. We will try to keep everyone informed of what is going on with us and our new life adventure. We will send out details of where we are living once we find a place and get settled. Well, since the $10 bill came again for the web address, its been a full year of hanleycentral.com. Congratulations family! I've decided to renew for another year and try to add some features to the website. Aside from changing around the look and feel, there's a new emailing feature you can subscribe to.
